Welcome to Eden Valley Farmstay
Eden Valley is a working farm with sheep, cattle, alpacas and a friendly sheep dog.
A guided tour is provided and guests are free to walk around the picturesque property while observing the varied birdlife and wildflowers in season. Hosts, Jefferson and Barbara are keen native plant enthusiasts. This is reflected in the garden and ongoing farm revegetation program.
It is an ideal base from which to visit the Dryandra Woodland Nature Reserve including the Barna Mia Animal Sanctuary. Night tours of Barna Mia are held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (excluding Public Holidays). Advance bookings are required.
Other places to visit are Foxes Lair Nature Reserve in Narrogin, Albert Facey Homestead in Wickepin, Yilliminning Rock, Wagin Historical Village and Wave Rock in Hyden. The Pingelly Heights astronomical observatory is open from October to April. |
